Hi, my name is Jed! I’m a happy, goofy giant that loves lots of cuddles and attention. My loving, friendly nature scores me lots of pats and cuddles when I meet people!
I would be best suited to a home with a large backyard, with someone that is able to keep me company regularly. I get pretty lonely when no one is home or my foster family sleep in! I am very friendly with other dogs and having a doggy pal to keep me company while no one is home should keep my separation anxiety and energy levels at ease. I require a lot of attention and sometimes underestimate how big I am. Because I love people so much, I often try to squeeze next to them on the couch/bed for a sneaky snuggle.
I love going on walks and runs, especially at the beach! The drive there doesn’t bother me either. Currently my foster mum takes me on a walk every morning followed by a long walk at night. I’m a great walker but get easily excited by other dogs and people. More training and discipline should help perfect my walking technique. I’m very friendly towards other dogs and can be trusted off leash to play and let out all of my energy.
I’m toilet trained and will always hold on while inside or in the car. I’m also a patient eater and will sit for my food and accept treats and snacks ever so gently. Currently I sleep inside on my bed, with my bunny rabbit. I’ve been known to chew up a few shoes and go through the rubbish bin. But a big backyard should help curb my naughty habits!
I look forward to meeting my forever family and smothering them in cuddles!
Jed is Microchipped, vaccinated and desexed and up to date with flea and worm treatments.
