Hi. My name is Susie and I am a very loving two year old tan kelpie x staffy and I adore all people big and small. I love nothing more than people’s attention and affection and will be friends with anyone offering a pat. I love to sit in front of you while you rub my head and I will not move until you stop.

I am learning how to play gently as I can at times become a bit rough when really excited. Sometimes I get so excited I try to jump up on my foster carers, but I’m quickly learning that this is not ok.

I would benefit from having a doggy friend as I have loved playing with a foster sister. However, I have also enjoyed some time as an only child getting all of my owner’s attention. But I do not like cats so please don’t make me live with one.

I love going for walks and am very relaxed and easy to manage on the lead, although I do have a tendency to pull if there is another dog I need to meet. My foster carers are working with me to change this behaviour and you may need to help me too. It’s so hard for me when I’m on the lead and there’s a dog I can’t say hi to.

My most favourite thing to do is have a run and play on the beach and in the park, this is such awesome fun!  I’m good playing in a pack and extremely proud to say I have very good recall and can be trusted to come when I’m called.

At my foster house I am usually quiet but sometimes I do feel the need to bark to warn off possible intruders or when other dogs in the neighbourhood start barking.

Susie’s foster carers have found her to be a generally cruisy dog who is a quick learner and is incredible easy to fall in love with – especially when she stares deeply into your eyes with her adorable eyes. She’s very well behaved and tries hard to be a good girl who always listens and responds to instructions.

Susie is ready for her forever home. Her forever owners will need time to spend with her and will be rewarded with a gorgeous pet who will provide you with loyalty and so much love.

Susie is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatments.
